WYVERN is a mythological bird having dragon wings and a poisonoussting on its tail. This name is picked for this band for various reasonssuch has the interest we have to mythology, FRP games (Mainly AD&D)and thought to sound good.

WYVERN was first formed in November 1988. The first staff was:

- Berke T. ÖZSOY Guitar
- Orkun ARIYÖRÜK Drums
- Aykut ÖZ Bass Guitar
- Kenan AKÇORA Vocals

Later, members changed. Second guitarrist Gökhan SEZER joinedthe band in September 1992. After the vocalist and the bass guitarristleft the band in June1993, Timur KAYA (vocals) and Okan SEZER (bass) joinedthe band in August.

THE LATEST DEVELOPMENTS:

Four of the group members except Okan started their military obligationin 1995. Berke and Orkun finished theirs on November. Timur finished hison March 96. Gokhan and Okan left the group for their personal reasonsin 1996.

The group should find a bass player. That was Ete-ex Mind Vortex Bassist. The last concert was in Graveyard Bar in Ankara in 21 May 1996 for thehonour of Orkun's marriage.

Ete and Timur also left the band for his other projects in late 1996.

In 1997 a new bass player and a guitarrist-also an old friend joined the band, but as a vocalist could not be found, the bass player left again.

Now Wyvern has three members:
Orkun Ariyoruk-Drums
Berke Ozsoy-Guitar (Sometimes vocals)
Serdar Gurcan-Guitar

P.S. Berke also married on 17 April 1998, but unfortunately there wasnot enough members available for a concert!
